State Chateau Telč
In the second half of the 14th century, the Lords of Hradec had built a Gothic castle. Zechariah of Hradec had been dwelling in Telč since the year 1550 and he had the old castle rebuilt and expanded by newly built Renaissance palaces.
In the premises of the chateau you can find a branch office of Museum of Vysočina.
Museum in Telč
It is considered one of the eldest museums in south-western Moravia. It was founded in 1886 and its exposition provides documentary evidence for the town development in the course of centuries.

Square of Telč
The square bordered with picturesque gable houses and arcades looks roughly the same as at the times of town foundation. Then there were typical gothic houses with a typical arrangement of floors and a ground floor. Although a majority of them were reconstructed, these typical gothic features has been preserved until the present day
